The walk has been organised by the Parks and Amenities team at North Devon Council and starts at 8pm from the tea rooms at Bicclescombe Park. All you need to do is bring a torch and bat detector if you have one and wear suitable clothing.Mike Jones, Parks and Amenities Officer at North Devon Council, said: "This is an opportunity for local people to discover more about these fascinating creatures and experience the excitement of hearing and spotting them. By using bat detectors people will also be able to identify the different types of bats within the park." At the end of the evening refreshments will be provided for all walkers and there will be a chance to share stories about what was found exploring the park by torchlight. If you would like any further information about the Bat Walk, contact the Parks and Amenities Team at North Devon Council on (01271) 388326.
