The 23-year-old was also found to have five MDMA pills and cannabis at her home in Barnstaple.

A Barnstaple woman has been fined after police found a large quantity of drugs in her home.

Bridy Lilly May Mallows, 23, of Grosvenor Court, had 375 diazepam tablets and a small quantity of cannabis.

Police also found five MDMA tablets, a class A drug, in a Kinder Egg package.

Mallows said she 'self medicated' with diazepam for her depression.

The court heard she had packaged the drugs into 'weekly portions' after buying a 'bargain' bulk lot because otherwise she would be 'popping them like Smarties'.

Magistrates imposed a conditional discharge for six months and fined her a total of £120 plus a £20 victim surcharge.
