Can you tackle the Rugby World Cup challenge and pick the winning burger at Tooters?
A snack shack in Barnstaple is celebrating the Rugby World Cup with its own special burger contest.
Tooters Snack Shack at Jewson’s car park in Barnstaple kicked off its world cup burger competition on Monday.
From the spicy South African ‘Springbok Burger’ to the more patriotic ‘Full English’, customers can choose from five of the competition’s giants for their lunch break.
Anyone who buys one of the special burgers will be pledging their support for that country and have their name go into a pot for their chosen team.
After the final, Tooters’ owners, Sharon Neve and Elaine Geraghty, will pick one lucky winner to get their hands on a free burger.
Sharon said: “We like to get behind any sporting event and I’m quite into my rugby.
“A lot of our customers support the rugby too.
“There hasn’t been that much support for the French Le Brie though – we might have to change that up for something else instead.”
Tooters, based in Jewson’s car park at Seven Brethren, is celebrating its fourth birthday this year.
