POLICE in Barnstaple are appealing for help in relation to an incident that occurred on Friday, September 4 between 3pm and 3.15pm by Pilton Community College.
An 11-year-old boy, who has learning difficulties, was struck on the head by a stranger as he was standing near the bike sheds at the back of Pilton Community College in Abbey Road, Barnstaple.
The suspect is described as a white man, with a goatee beard who was wearing a hat. He is thought to have driven off in a blue Vauxhall car.
The boy was left with a slight bump to the head.
