A Barnstaple mum is taking on her own Slimming World group after losing more than four stone herself.
A Barnstaple slimmer who lost more than four stone has decided to pass on her success to others.
India Harris started at Slimming World in June last year, losing four stone and six-and-a-half pounds in the process.
The mum-of-two is now joining Slimming World’s group at Swimbridge’s Jubilee Hall as a consultant.
The 32-year-old went back to the group for a third time after giving birth to her second child.
She said: “After I had Finley I went to the doctors and he told me I was obese.
“That’s when I thought I needed to do something about this.
“I had no clothes, I couldn’t fit in them and I was miserable.”
By going ‘back to basics’ and eating low-fat meals with more vegetables, India is now just two pounds away from her overall target.
Now she will be helping others to reach their target weight at the Swimbridge sessions on Monday nights.
“Now I feel awesome,” she said.
“I’ve dropped four dress sizes and feel confident and happy.
“I want people to feel as good as happy and as healthy as I do and I want to help others achieve their dream weight.”
India’s group in Swimbridge at the Jubilee Hall starts on Monday, July 10 from 7.30pm.
