A Barnstaple fundraiser has been helping fundraise for a charity which promotes heart health with the help of a brand new curry paste. James Lewis dropped by Bideford Morrisons to help raise funds for the charity Heart Research UK with the help of Mums Masala curry paste. From every jar sold, 1p will be donated to Heart Research UK, which has helped fund charities such as Wings South West, who James works for. Bideford-based Wings helps local young people who are not in education, training or employment to learn how to be heart healthy. James said: Heart Research UK is the perfect match for Mums Masala, as its always promoting healthy food choices, and this curry sauce is low in saturated fat and sugar. In the last 15 years, Heart Research UK has spent over £1.1m on research in the South West and over £70,000 on community healthy heart grants in the region.
