THE Barnstaple-based branch of Sanctuary Home Care has secured a three-year contract to provide care and support services to people living across North Devon.Devon County Council has chosen the Whiddon Valley branch - rated "excellent" by the Care Quality Commission - to provide 1,200 hours of care per week to people in their own homes.Donna Culley, Sanctuary's head of home care and extra care, said: "We are thrilled to have been awarded this contract and look forward to providing our high quality services to people within the North Devon community."At Sanctuary Home Care we pride ourselves on treating people with the utmost dignity and respect, helping them to live as independently as possible and remain in their own homes. "We invest heavily in our staff and provide our carers with specialist training for their individual client groups." Sanctuary Home Care, part of Sanctuary Care, provides a wide range of care and support services to people living in their own homes.Services can include help with shopping, prescription collection, bathing and dressing, night sitting and waking services. It can also provide domestic assistance such as cooking, cleaning and laundry.Sanctuary Home Care can also provide more specialist services such as rehabilitation, intermediate care and live-in care.
