Taw Velo cyclists bid to travel “end to end” in 12 days for Chemotherapy Appeal.

TEN members of the Taw Velo cycle club set off for a gruelling “end to end” cycle from lands End to John O’ Groats to raise money for the North Devon Chemotherapy Appeal.

The group aim to complete more than 1,000 miles in 12 days after setting off from Cornwall on Monday.

It has been organised by co-ordinators Rachel Pryce, Dave Parsley and David Luggar, who said: “The aim of getting on our bikes is not just to raise cash for a worthy cause but as representatives of Taw Velo Cycle Club it gives us the opportunity to help raise the profile of the Club as one that does a lot for the community.”
