POLICE believe that a fire that caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to a Barnstaple bowling alley was started deliberately.
The blaze at Let's Go Superbowl, on the Pottington Industrial estate, took place at around 1am on Wednesday, August 25.
Officers said a person was seen setting fire to a wheelie bin near the Braunton Road entrance, which spread to the main building.
PC Dave Seymour, the Neighbourhood Beat Manager for the Newport, said: "We are anxious to obtain as much information as we possibly can regarding this incident which we believe to be arson.
