NORTHERN Devon Healthcare Trust employees are one in a million - well two in 1.8 million to be precise!Kerry Osborne and Heather Hadland were selected from hundreds of thousands of eligible learners to receive City and Guilds Medals of Excellence in recognition of their excellent standards of work and depth of knowledge in their fields.Kerry was recognised for completing the NVQ Level Three in customer service, while Heather gained Level Three in health and social care.Both girls are now in the running to win one of nine prestigious Lion Awards, dubbed the "Education Oscars," which will be announced later in April at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.Gail Richards, vocational trainer and centre manager for customer service and care at Northern Devon Healthcare Trust, said: "Kerry and Heather have deservedly won this mark of special distinction. "They are an inspiration to others and demonstrate that going the extra mile pays dividends.
