A SENIOR autism lecturer at Northumbria University will talk about the challenges facing young people with the condition at a special event being held in Barnstaple later this month.Lynne Moxon will begin a full-day event at the Barnstaple Hotel by talking about adolescence, puberty and sexuality for those with autism spectrum conditions.The second subject will be about overcoming transition challenges for young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorders."This will be an informative day and we hope those involved with autism, either through work or as a family member, will take advantage of gaining further knowledge of the condition," said Linda Harding, of the North Devon Forum for Autism and Related Behaviours.The cost for the full day event on Wednesday, March 25, including a buffet lunch, is �15 for parents and �30 for professionals.
