AN enthusiastic stream of beach artists turned out at Woolacombe on Friday to created fantastic sculptures on the seashore.

Art Attack was organised by the National Trust as part of the annual Biog Draw event and invited people of all ages along during the day to create a little art from whatever came to hand.

Both natural and man made debris collected by trust wardens and volunteers as well as the sand itself, became the building blocks for everything from mermaids to witches and trees!
