AN art exhibition and auction with a nautical flavour at the Driftwood Gallery in Ilfracombe has raised 1,323 for the town lifeboat station.
A preview of the Coast to Coast exhibition at the gallery on the Quay included the auction of an original painting donated by local artist Nikki De Marco, with Ilfracombe Mayor Philip Webb acting as auctioneer.
The evening was a great success and 10 per cent of exhibition sales were also donated to the RNLI.
Nikki's painting was bought by local woman Dr Reardon who has been a long time supporter of both the RNLI and artist Nikki De Marco.
