Parisian swing returns to Exeter for Valentine’s Day

Gypsy jazz favourites La Vie En Rose set for two special shows at the Cygnet Theatre on Saturday 14 February

Parisian swing returns to Exeter for Valentine’s Day

Love will be served with a side of Parisian swing this Valentine’s Day as gypsy jazz favourites La Vie En Rose return to Exeter’s Cygnet Theatre for a special musical celebration on Saturday 14 February 2026.

Following their sell-out performance last year, the five-piece band – widely regarded as one of the South West’s leading gypsy jazz and hot swing ensembles – will perform two shows, with a 2.30pm matinee and an evening performance at 7.30pm.

Audiences can expect toe-tapping rhythms, romantic melodies and a vibrant set inspired by the spirit of 1930s Paris. Mixing gypsy jazz favourites with jazz standards, soulful ballads and dazzling improvisation, La Vie En Rose bring the warmth, flair and joy at the heart of this much-loved music to the stage.

Based in Exeter, the musicians have built a strong reputation across the UK through performances at leading jazz festivals, arts venues and prestigious events, including regular appearances in London and across the South West.

More information and booking details are available from the Cygnet Theatre box office and lavieenrosegypsyjazz.com.
