Appledore Summer Festival saw stalls, music and activties lining the quay over the weekend.

Appledore Summer Festival took place this weekend with a packed programme of music, dancing and crafts.

The main festival days of Saturday and Sunday saw Appledore Quay as a hive of activity and entertainment.

There was street performers including dancers, buskers, street artists, musicians - and some super costumes.

This year's theme is 'Appledore Treasures' and everyone is invited to arrive dressed as pirates and sea folk, with prizes on offer.

Mayor Hugh Brading, along with Alison Rickman, judged entried for the best fancy dress.

Thali Payne, four, and Romona Perry, six, took the prizes for the best costumes on Sunday.

Appledore Carnival, organised by the Appledore Pirates, followed the Appledore Summer Festival on Sunday.
