BARNSTAPLE police are seeking witnesses to two assaults in clubs in the town.A 21-year-old woman was arrested following an alleged attack at the Venue in the Strand between midnight and 1am on Easter Sunday. She has been bailed to return to Barnstaple Police Station on May 19. During the incident in the club toilets two other women sustained facial injuries. Police believe a number of women saw what happened and have urged them to come forward.Anyone who can help is asked to contact police on 08452 777444 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111, quoting reference CB/09/1429.On Sunday March 29 at Bar Toko between 2-3am saw a 33-year-old Bideford man punched in what is described as an "unprovoked assault," leaving him with a split lip and missing tooth.
