THE first of what is hoped will become an annual quiz night is taking place at the Chichester Arms on Bishops Tawton on Monday, May 11.Members of the village Methodist Church are organising the event for teams of up to six, to raise money for Christian Aid."Rather than getting the community to come into church we thought we'd go to the community - and the pub - instead!" joked organiser Peter Edwards."And the Chichester is very kindly letting us use the area free of charge."St Johns Garden Centre is sponsoring a trophy and it is hoped to make the quiz an annual event.The cost is �2.50 per person and food will be provided.
