EVER wondered what flies over your head at night? Devon Bat Group and South West Lakes Trust invite you to Tamar Lakes for a walk and talk to find out more about British bats. The event takes place on Friday, June 26 and starts at Upper Tamar Lake cafe at 8.30pm with a fascinating talk by Helen Shaw of Devon Bat Group, with the chance to learn more about different bat species and their habitats. This will be followed by a guided walk to Lower Tamar Lake with bat detectors, on the lookout for Pipistrelle, Daubentons, Noctule and other bats, returning at around 10.30-11pm.The event is free, but there is a �2 car park charge, and donations to Devon Bat Group are appreciated.
