MEMBERS of North Devon's ethnic community staged a day of cultural diversity on Barnstaple Square on Saturday. The Diversity Fair featured Asian music and dancing, a fashion show, henna hand painting, games and ethnic displays.

Shoppers were also able to enjoy sushi, Indian and Thai cooking demonstrations as well as sample some of the delicious food on offer.

Organiser Mahi Ahmed said the day was held to celebrate the different cultures and ethnicity in North Devon.
