Alarm raised after washing machine fire on Barnstaple estate

A WASHING machine fire had emergency services in a spin yesterday morning (Wednesday). Two fire engines from Barnstaple were called to reports of the fire at a home in Meadow Brook, Roundswell, at around 8.20am.

Two fire engines from Barnstaple were called to reports of the fire at a home in Meadow Brook, Roundswell, at around 8.20am.
Crews dealt with a small fire in the kitchen appliance and made it safe before leaving the scene.
