THE Fremington in Bloom project has received a boost thanks to �500 given by Devon County Council from funds allocated from the sale of Exeter International Airport.A new permanent brick and stone flower bed is to be installed at the entrance to the village. The money has been allocated by Fremington Rural county councillor Rodney Cann from his local projects fund.Councillor Cann said: "This is to provide a permanent stone display bed highlighting Fremington in Bloom in heathers."I am very pleased to support this very industrious local community group that does so much to brighten up the village and which regularly wins awards for its endeavours.
