NORTH Devon Council has taken steps to help ease potential traffic congestion at the North Devon Show, which takes place on Wednesday.
There are fears that temporary traffic lights currently in place on the B3232 at Brynsworthy could add to the annual bottleneck caused by people travelling to and from the show at Belle Vue, Huntshaw.
A council spokesperson said the automatic timing on the traffic lights on the B3232 at Brynsworthy will be turned off and operated manually so that they can be changed to help the traffic flow.
The lights are in place to enable changes to be made to the junction leading to the council's new works and recycling depot.
