FOURTEEN staff members of a Bideford accountancy firm are counting up the cash after taking part in a charity event along the Tarka Trail.

The colleagues from RT Marke and Co donned their sporting outfits and kicked a football along the trail between Bideford and Barnstaple to raise cash for the prostate and testicular cancer charity Everyman.

They took part in regular charity events, but wanted to do something different, said organiser Andrew Robinson.

All had gone well, apart from losing two footballs along the way, he said.
