Police have named the man who died following an accident near the Westleigh junction on the A39 on Monday evening.
Luke Chami, aged 40, was driving a silver Peugeot Partner from Bideford towards Barnstaple when it is thought to have rolled over and was badly damaged.
Mr Chami received head injuries and died in hospital on Wednesday night.
A 39-year-old male passenger suffered only minor injuries in the accident and was released from hospital after treatment.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision, which occurred at about 9.25pm on Monday. They would also like to talk to anyone who saw the vehicle driving along the stretch of road.
