A new show for Christmas

MERRY Christmas Everyone is the name of a new show to be performed by young people from Fremington, Bickington and East Yelland later this year.It is being put together by members of the congregation at St Peter's Church, Fremington with the help of well known local theatre director Kev Behan, who will arrange, direct and produce it.It is expected that between 30 and 50 young people aged between 11 and 18 will take part, including a band.Rehearsals will start in September and continue through October and November in St Peter's Church hall on Friday evenings.The show will be presented at St Peter's in early December. Full details will be published later.The show will be a celebration of Christmas through the eyes of young people and will include a collection of modern and traditional music, poems and sketches all arranged to put you in the festive mood in the lead-up to the big day.
