A proposal to connect Ilfracombe Museum to the Landmark Theatre as part of a scheme to revamp and regenerate the town seafront will be unveiled on Friday of next week (May 22.) The notion of joining the two buildings with a covered area are part of a broader £5 million regeneration package for the seafront suggested by consultants Perfect Moment, which could include a plaza, Capstone slide and a sea view platform.They will be revealed to the public by the Seafront Team of Ilfracombe Town Councillors and officers plus their North Devon Council counterparts, on Friday, May 22 between 3-9pm and on Saturday 23 between 10am-2pm at the Landmark.Now it is up to local people to look at the schemes, talk to the consultants and give their opinion, before bids are submitted to try and win funding for the project.
