New boys on target

South Molton signings come up with the goods on debut day

TWO new signings scored for South Molton Reserves in a 6-0 win over Chittlehampton Reserves.

Dan Bruce scored two and Shane Thorne got one in the local derby at Old Alswear Road. Colin Kennerson and Ryan Isaac were also on target for the Images.

Northside Atlantic beat Anchor Reserves 4-1 in the Bideford derby on Saturday.

In a game played at the Polyfield, Neil Armstromg put Atlantic in front with a penalty after 15 minutes.

Anchor equalised 10 minutes later but Vinny Bott restored the lead on the stroke of half-time.

Bott added another after the break before Dan Woolf pressured an Anchor defender into a fourth.

Wayne Jeffery (2) and Ali Davidson scored for Anchor Chiefs in a 3-2 win against Braunton Fourths.
