A unique Afrocentric shopping experience is on offer at the new Black Wall Street London shop, recently opened at Barnstaple’s Green Lanes shopping centre.

In the last month the successful launch of the Black Wall Street London store has brought a ‘light and bright’ shopping environment to North Devon.

Housed in the rejuvenated Green Lanes shopping centre, visitors can sample, view and purchase hand-picked merchandise from all over the African continent.

From original African artwork and homewares to books, cosmetics, fashion, gifts and a Kiddie’s Corner all personally sourced by the owner Natasha Vigille. Black Wall Street London offers a diverse choice of products, previously inaccessible to the region.

Devon based entrepreneur Natasha Vigille, known to her friends as ‘Tasha’ is also passionate about providing an interactive community environment and is an advocate of the importance of an all-inclusive safe community space.

To promote this, a series of instore events are offered, starting on June 11 from 2pm – 3pm with an exclusive instore book signing of ‘Go Home Blackie’ by local and revered author Melody Appleton.

“With a core belief that collaboration is key to our success... It will be done with the community as the focal point.” said Tasha, who also stocks her own luxury scented candle business ‘Cornucopia Emporium’ which she launched three years ago with the assistance and support of Devon County Council and NatWest Bank who recognised her as a gifted female entrepreneur.

Tasha is also a Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2020 Finalist, nominated for the ‘Entrepreneurial Spirit Award’ representing the Southwest, as the founder of Cornucopia Emporium.

The Black Wall Street London Afrocentric retail store is further complimented by an online e-commerce website with a click and collect facility and can be found at: www.blackwallstreetlondon.com
