Molton beat Biddy in colts derby

BIDEFORD Colts lost 22-5 to South Molton on the lush, green pasture of Govier’s Field.

South Molton used the slope and their heavy pack to dominate proceedings through most of the first half, rumbling in two tries, one converted.

Needless handling errors cost Bideford much of their possession.

Poor Bideford handling, and some dubious decision making, allowed the South Molton pack to keep a strangle hold on the game.

Bideford started to respond, with Zack Hills going over but not getting the try as the referee was unsighted.

Bideford kept up the pressure and a scrum gave Alex Hillman the chance to get over.

Bideford’s Fraser Smith worked hard to put in a good second-half performance.
