Mixed bag for Bideford rifles

BIDEFORD Rifle Club members had a mixed bag of results in the National 50metres League.

The first two rounds of the competition brought two defeats for the Bideford A team, despite two maximum 100/100 scores from Martin Morgan.

The B team won one and lost one, but there were two victories for team C.

Both the A and B teams have been promoted to higher divisions this season - the A team competing in their highest ever Division 2.

Division 2 - Bideford A 1,936, Bon Accord A 1,941; Bideford A 1,927, Chichester 1,936. Division 12 - Bideford B 1,902, Shanklin 1,915; Bideford B 1,881, Beaconsfield 1,870. Division 19 - Bideford C 1,847, Banchory B 1,820; Bideford C 1,387, St Nicholas B 1,824.
