Lord’s talk lifts lid on royal role
Former royal press secretary to give unique insight into the future role of the monarchy
A FORMER press secretary to the Queen will be talking about the role of the modern monarchy at a special lecture being held in Clovelly next month.
Lord Robin Janvrin was responsible for advising on all aspects of the Queen’s public life as part of a 20-year secondment at Buckingham Palace.
Now the deputy chairman of HSBC Private Bank UK, the experience has given Lord Janvrin a unique insight into how the royal family will address their role in a fast-changing world.
The talk entitled “The monarchy in the 21st century – The relevance of monarchy in the digital age†will be talking at the Clovelly Visitor Centre on Friday, October 21, from 6pm.
