The Big Sheep Christmas markets

Free-range turkeys, organic meats, sprouts on stalks, cheeses, cakes, puddings, biscuits, fudge, chocolate, bread, fish and Christmas trees are just some of the delights which will be on offer at the South West’s biggest indoor Farmers’ Markets.
The markets will be held at The Big Sheep in Bideford on the following Saturdays: December 2, 9, 16, and 23, from 9am-1pm, with free entry for all.

RHS Rosemoor’s Christmas food fair
The most wonderful tastes can be found at RHS Garden Rosemoor’s Christmas food fair.
There will be sumptuous foods to delight all tastes on December 3, from 10am-3pm.
With so much choice, you will be sure to find some extra treats to impress your family and friends with this Christmas season.
North Devon Christmas Market
The biggest and best market yet is expected in Braunton this year, and there are bound to be lots of tempting treats.
Now in its third year, the annual North Devon Christmas Market in Braunton will have 150 stalls this year.
The market returns to the village on Saturday, December 2, and will once again be held on and around Caen Street car park.
Barnstaple Real Food Market
More than 30 local food and drink stalls will be at the bustling Real Food Market in Barnstaple Pannier Market.
From craft breweries to artisan producers and street food, you’ll be sure to find food for a Christmas feast and plenty of gifts too.
The event runs from 10am-3pm on Sunday, December 10.
Street food market in Barnstaple
Sizzling smells will make their way out of Barnstaple Pannier Market and delight shoppers on Thursday, December 14.
Fill your bellies at the Christmas Food Street Party from 6pm-9pm as part of the town’s late night shopping.
There will be a whole range of international treats, as well as music, bars and children’s entertainment.
Christmas at Johns
Johns of Instow and Appledore will be hosting a range of sampling evenings, including a Wicked Wolf gin night, cocktail party workshop, and a festive food and drink extravaganza.
On December 3, you’ll be able to sample all sorts of festive treats from 10am-4pm in the Instow shop.
Other events include cheese and wine tasting, and a mixologist masterclass throughout November and December.
