The Atlantic Spirit Distillery, based at The BIG Sheep, opens today and is the brainchild of master distiller Quinton Davies and award-winning brewer Simon Lacey, who runs the Country Life Brewery, based at the Abbotsham attraction.
Mums and dads are being invited to be among the first to sample the first two gins produced by the distillery – a hibiscus gin and a lemon and thyme gin, served with Fever Tree tonic.
The Ginspiration Bar at Dartington Crystal
Every day is a gin day at Dartington Crystal, thanks to their Ginspiration bar, which features plenty of local gins to try.
From Wicked Wolf and Salcombe to Dartmoor Beast and Plymouth original, you can enjoy your gin with Fever Tree tonic from a beautiful crystal glass.
Johns of Appledore’s gin cream tea
Love gin? Love cream teas? Why not combine the two and enjoy a very special gin cream tea at Johns of Appledore?
The newly opened café is offering this boozy delight, complete with a pink gin drink and gin jam – what more could you ask for?

More than 30 different gins make up the menu at the newly refurbished Claytons and The Glasshouse in Barnstaple.

Majestic Wine gin tastings, Barnstaple
They may be better known for their wines, but Majestic Wine is hosting gin tastings all day in their Barnstaple store.
It’s just down the road from the Gazette office, so we might even see you there!
Miss Fea’s Café, Mortehoe
A cute coffee shop by day, a gin bar by night, Miss Fea’s can be found at The Smugglers Rest in Mortehoe.
They host gin tasting events some evenings and have a great gin selection to choose from.
