Late night ladder exploits in Barnstaple
Fire fighters used a ladder to climb up to a woman’s flat when she called just after midnight on Tuesday to say she was locked out and her oven was on.
A Barnstaple fire crew attended the property at Chester Terrace in the town at 12.20am and soon gained access to the flat.
