No need for Northside to take out a ‘mortgage’ to buy new away strip

NORTH Devon Gazette Intermediate One side Northside Atlantic has hit on a novel way to secure the club a new kit deal.

Players held a “sponsorship raffle” to help cover the several hundred pounds required for a much needed new away kit.

The club asked potential sponsors to donate �100 for the chance to have their company’s name on the front of the shirts.

Of the seven companies that responded (Farm & Cottage Holidays; Paul Jewels Chartered Surveyor; Coversure Insurance Services; A D Construction; M&J Plumbing; Barr Mortgages; and T D R Summers Builders), Barr Mortgages were the lucky company drawn out of the hat at the club’s pre season AGM.
