Bideford Blues enjoyed some great results at the Exeter Rowing Regatta on Saturday and it was three out of three for Barney Evans.
Despite only being back in the country for 24 hours, Barney was on top form, gaining first place in the Men Junior 18 sculls, Men’s Novice scull and pairing up with Harry Fanson for the Men’s Novice Double’s.
It was also a first-place spot for Sophie Evans in the Women’s Junior 18 sculls.
Harry Fanson partnered with Barney and gained first place in the Men’s Novice doubles and had to settle for third place in the Men’s Junior 18 sculls.
In his debut season, Finley Cloak took third spot in the Men’s Junior 14 sculls and Lexi Reeves was consistent with her second places in the heats of the Women’s Junior 15 & 16 sculls.
A great day of rowing by all the juniors in near perfect conditions.
