PRESENTATIONS to charity totalling �5,000 have been made by the family and friends of Torrington teenager Daylin Brown, who tragically died in a road accident in February.

Daylin's mother Lyndsay Brown and organisers of an auction and a music gig, held in his memory, handed over �2,500 each to Breast Cancer Care and the Lighthouse Club, a charity set up to support people in the construction industry.

Mrs Brown has herself suffered from breast cancer and 16-year-old Daylin was involved in the construction industry through his work with local firm K and J Plant (Contractors) Ltd.
