A holidaymaker was airlifted to hospital with head injuries on Saturday after he fell on to rocks at Combe Martin.
The 3.30pm rescue was co-ordinated by Swansea Coastguard and involved the Ilfracombe Coastguard Rope Rescue Team and the RAF search and rescue helicopter from Chivenor. South Western Ambulance Service also attended.
The 49-year-old man was flown to North Devon District Hospital by the Chivenor helicopter, where he was treated for head injuries. His condition is not known at this time.
