Ilfracombe finished a few lengths ahead of the leading home crew to take the cup, rowing the 4.5 miles in approximately 40 minutes.
The Appledore club had its new safety rib out on the water, named The Matt Cox after young club member Matt, who made the successful grant application which made its purchase possible.
