THE people of Braunton have been urged to begin turning out their lots for the annual St Brannock's Church charity auction next month.

The event is at St Brannock's Rooms on Saturday, May 15 and is always a popular affair.

As ever there is likely to be a range of goods for sale, including household items, furniture, plants, jewellery and various collectables.

Goods can be donated to the auction, sold on a 50-50 basis, with half the proceeds going to church funds and half to the seller or valuable items can have a reserve placed on them, with an 80-20 split agreed in advance with the auctioneer.

Lots can be taken to St Brannock's Rooms on Thursday and Friday, May 13 and 14, or can be collected in advance by arrangement, with some limited storage available.

On auction day, viewing takes place from 9am and the sale begins at 11. For more details or to arrange collection, contact Ray Shapland on (01271) 813083 or 814082.
