The team behind Bideford Bike Show hosted their first Classic Motorbcycle Show at Bideford Pannier Market on Sunday (February 11).
The event saw more than 40 classic motorbikes fill the hall and drew hundreds of visitors to the market to enjoy the display.
Exhibits ranged from classic Vespas to vintage two strokes more than a century old, British made Triumphs and Nortons, as well as beloved icons from the 1970s and 80s, a rare 1938 Indian Scout and the superbikes of their era.
Best in show was awarded to Richard Mansfield with his snazzy yellow 1974 Ducati 750 Sport.
Carol Kelly of the Bike Show Team said: “The day was well received by all the exhibitors, some even asked if there will be another one, as if so they will be back next time.
“It was a relaxed atmosphere with lots of the general public supporting the event, all the marshalls did a great job, and enjoyed the day.”
The event was sponsored by Andy Smales Used Motorcycles and Croxford Consultancy.
There were a number of stalls and auto jumble stands at the event, too. All monies raised from the event go towards covering the costs of Bideford Bike Show, which will be held on Bideford Quay on Sunday, May 26 from 12noon to 5pm.
Full details of the Bike Show, upcoming Bideford Bike Nights and other events held by the team can be found on the Bideford Bike Show Facebook Page.
