Organisers have hailed ‘an amazing day’ at the annual Barnstaple Diversity and Pride Festival which saw music, entertainment and most of all inclusiveness celebrated on Castle Green.
The event celebrates difference and diversity by hosting musicians, performers, stalls and representatives from a wide spectrum of the north Devon community.
It began with a Pride March around Castle Green, then people had the opportunity to sample food from around the world, try on a kimono, enjoy Henna painting and Latin dance workshops or browse the various craft stalls as well as stalls from local charities and organisations.

There were performances from the Ukrainian Voices Choir plus a two hour set from Soul Endeavour.
Organiser Sunrise Diversity said: “A huge thank you to everyone who marched, performed, traders, volunteered, organisations, sponsors, and everyone who danced, laughed, shared and celebrated with us — you made it truly special.
“Your energy, kindness, and spirit turned the day into a beautiful celebration of community, inclusion and love.”
