Bideford's streets came alive on Sunday, May 12, as runners from near and far gathered for the annual Bideford 10K.
Ronnie Richmond of Bideford AAC claimed victory in the men's category with a time of 31 minutes and 13 seconds.

Following closely behind were Luke Granger, crossing the finish line at 31 minutes and 35 seconds, and Josh Benford, also representing Bideford AAC, completing the race in 31 minutes and 47 seconds.
On the women's side, Nikki Kelly of Tavistock AC emerged victorious, clocking in at 37 minutes and 12 seconds.
Lucy Coad of South West Road Runners secured the second position with a time of 38 minutes and 20 seconds, closely trailed by Evee Banbury from Torrington AAC, who finished just two seconds later at 38 minutes and 22 seconds.
Runners of all abilities were welcomed to participate, each receiving a bespoke 2024 medal and a commemorative t-shirt to mark their achievement.
Highlighting the competitive spirit of the event, cash prizes awaited the top three male and female runners, with £250 awarded to both the first man and woman across the finish line.
