Two Barnstaple crews deal with Swimbridge fire

FIFTEEN tonnes of hay were severely damaged following a fire at Combe Cross in Swimbridge yesterday (Sunday) evening.

Two Barnstaple fire crews tackled the blaze just after 6pm, using hoses, pulling the hay from the main fire with drag forks and pitchforks.
