SIXTY Exmoor Darts League players competed in a charity competition at the Lion Hotel in Dulverton to raise money for the Help the Heroes fund.

The competition, held in memory of Dan Whiston, who died in a tragic accident last year, raised �445.

Overall winner was Alan Giffard who beat Phil Tolly 2-1 in the final. Semi-finalists were Ian Stoneman and Shaun Davey.

The event was organised by Will Johnson and hosted by Ian and Angela Johnson of the Lion Hotel.
