Tarka Tennis Centre’s annual ladies professional event is fast approaching, with a new date this year over the school half term, October 23-29,.

Entries so far are looking exciting, with top British players Heather Watson, Laura Robson and Anne Keothavong all down to play in Barnstaple.

Last year’s champions are also back to defend their titles. Alison Riske who won the singles and doubles champions Michaella Krajeck and Andrea Hlavackova will all be flying in to compete at what is Tarka’s fourth ladies international event.

Tarka has been running international events since 2004 to promote tennis and also to give local players and fans the chance to see top level tennis in North Devon.

Tickets this year have been reduced to coincide with the half term holidays so as many fans as possible can attend.
