FIRE fighters were called to reports of an electrical fire on a Barnstaple industrial estate yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).

Two crews from the town discovered a small fire in an air cannon blower at a unit on the Barnstaple Trading Centre in Whiddon Valley, at 1.30pm.

They isolated the electrics and inspected the scene to make sure it was safe.
