Family fun night with spooky surprises at Bideford Fire Station on Monday, October 31

Dare you enter the Freaky Fire House at Bideford Fire Station on Halloween night this Monday?

Fire fighters are inviting the community to join them from 5-8pm for a night of fun and spooky safety tips on October 31 as their training building is transformed into a haunted house.

The lower levels are aimed at children and teenagers while the top floors are for the bravest of adults and hardiest of souls – dare you climb the tower?

The free event will feature refreshments and sweets as well as free face painting with the scary face of your choice.

A collection will be taken on the night for The Fire Fighters Charity.

With November 5 fast approaching it is also an opportunity to find out more about the dangers of fireworks as well as fire and smoke, chimney fires, candles road traffic collisions and safety at home.
