Crucial Barnstaple Carnival AGM is a must

AS many people as possible have been urged to attend the Barnstaple Carnival AGM on Wednesday, January 26 to help decide the future of one of the main events on the town calendar.

Carnival committee chairman Arthur Windsor said the 7.30pm meeting at the Guildhall would be “an extremely important AGM” and called on the people and businesses of the town to come along and show their support.

This included anyone who had an interest, would like to take part as a volunteer or committee member or who could offer sponsorship, he said.
