EVEN though Croyde Surf Lifesaving Club are deep into the contest season, 25 members still found time to squeeze in their annual Bay to Bay swim challenge covering the 2.5km from Saunton to Croyde at high tide.

It proved good training for the Devon Masters/Seniors competition on Sunday. Croyde's Masters team stormed to first place with 700 points and 85 medals, retaining their crown for the second year running. Their Seniors team carried off second place, with Helen Blackman and Scott Hellmund bagging the Ocean Lady and Ocean Man Devon shields.
